Hi, I'm Nicola, a compassionate and experienced carer with over 25 years of experience in helping people live their lives independently. With a heart filled with kindness, I have become both a friendly and helpful carer with a passion for those that require assistance to complete daily tasks. My motivation to care has always been on helping people to retain their independence so that they can continue to do the things they love.
I have developed various skills over the years that make me an excellent carer, ranging from bathing, toileting to catheter care and companionship. Moreover, I have come across different challenges that have provided me with more experience, including mild cognitive impairment, bedbound, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression. Handling these conditions and making a positive impact continues to be the reason that nourishes my passion for what I do.
When I'm not caregiving, I find excitement from hobbies such as dancing, cooking, decorating, DIY projects, and socializing. When you hire me, you can be assured of a dedicated, professional and caring service. I'm comfortable with pets, including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. And most importantly, I can drive but currently do not have a car. Please do not hesitate to contact me for caring services, either hourly or overnight.
